Abstract

Cyber attacks are not always sure to induce a breach or infringement on a technical structure, but on a personal level. To overcome this, we have come up with a website meant to help people adopt better security practices. AwarenessHub is expected to be used by applying the best concepts. This system is the combination of realistic testing, phishing simulation, small quizzes, and a large list of over 250 security measures. The React and TypeScript front-end of the site is designed in relation to Supabase and is used to give user authentication and control over information management. This paper provides a description of our system design, and the mathematics of our hint scoring. The platform was tested on 45 students. The results indicated a threat detection score improvement of 42.3% for users who played the complete system of the game as opposed to non-users.
